A Note From the Founder
I founded Stick Shift Media after more than two decades of building, operating, and marketing websites.
I got started online in the early 2000s, building my own ecommerce businesses from the ground up. Web design, HTML, CSS, hosting, organic search engine optimization, affiliate marketing, and digital commerce, all learned by doing the work myself. Over the years I built and operated multiple websites, ranked commercial pages in search, launched affiliate programs, and sold an online business I built.
A business website should do more than look polished. It should be fast, technically sound, easy to use, and built around a clear business objective. I build for clients the same way I built for myself: nothing that puts your site at risk, and no tricks that stop working when Google changes.
The tools have changed considerably since I started. The fundamentals have not: understand the business, build with purpose, and create something that helps generate real opportunities.
